EIIC functional excellence organization is aligned to CTO's strategy to drive "One Eaton Engineering Functional Excellence". Charter of this organization is to simplify & create better work experiences for our Engineers by transforming existing engineering work processes. EIIC functional excellence organization will work with global Engineering Functional Excellence leaders in CTO's office, Electrical and Industrial Sector businesses.
This position will be responsible for design and development of eLearning Modules for Engineering User Groups considering Future Skill needs.
The candidate in this position will be responsible for :
- Design and develop engaging and interactive eLearning content that aligns with instructional design principles and learning objectives. Develop UI/ Ux for eLearning modules.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and analyze content, ensuring accuracy and relevance in course materials.
- Utilize eLearning authoring tools to create multimedia-rich courses, incorporating videos, simulations, and interactive assessments.
- Stay updated on eLearning trends and technologies to enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of educational content.
- Implement adult learning theories and instructional design best practices to create learner-centered experiences.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on content to ensure functionality, accessibility, and overall user experience.
- Provide support for the integration of eLearning modules into various Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Work closely with graphic designers, multimedia specialists, and other team members to enhance visual elements of courses.
- Adapt content for different learning styles, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for diverse audiences.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of eLearning courses through feedback mechanisms, making continuous improvements based on data and learner insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in eLearning content development, including the use of authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
Skills:
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and eLearning best practices.
- Proficient in multimedia development, including graphic design, video editing, and interactive elements.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), designing UI/UX and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to course deployment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging eLearning content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
