Job Description
We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Manager to oversee and optimize our online sales channels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and customer behavior. The E-commerce Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing the online shopping experience, and managing the end-to-end e-commerce operations.
Responsibilities
- Strategy Development
Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive sales and meet business objectives. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Return Reduction
Implementing quality control measures, optimizing manufacturing processes, and continuously improving product
design to enhance reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Delivery time Line Monitoring
tracking and managing the time it takes for products to be delivered to customers from the point of purchase.
- Appropriate Sampling
Selecting a representative subset of items from a larger inventory or production batch for various purposes such as quality control, market research, or testing.
- Platform Management
Manage and optimize the functionality of the e-commerce platform to ensure smooth operation and maximum performance. Oversee product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory management on all online channels.
- Digital Marketing
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic, conversion, and retention. Utilize SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and other digital channels to increase online visibility and engagement.
- User Experience Enhancement
Continuously improve the online shopping experience by optimizing website design, navigation, and checkout process. Implement A/B testing and analyze user data to make data-driven decisions for enhancing usability and conversion rate.
- Analytics and Reporting
Monitor key performance metrics (e.g., sales, conversion rate, average order value)and generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of e-commerce initiatives. Identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Management
Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and retention through personalized communication and targeted promotions. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration
Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce specialists, designers, and developers to execute projects effectively and achieve departmental goals. Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as marketing, sales, IT, and operations to align e-commerce initiatives with overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Masters degree preferred in marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) in e-commerce management, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and web analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
