AddressWe are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with expertise in road and rail alignment, designing, construction design, and proficiency in AutoCAD.
Responsibilities:
- Road and Rail Alignment: Develop precise alignments for road and rail networks, considering topography, geotechnical factors, and environmental impacts.
- Designing: Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed engineering drawings, encompassing roadways, railway tracks, bridges, tunnels, and associated structures.
- Construction Design: Plan construction sequences, materials selection, and structural specifications, ensuring feasibility and compliance with regulations.
- Site Investigation: Conduct thorough site assessments to gather data essential for project planning and alignment optimization.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations governing transportation infrastructure projects, securing necessary permits and approvals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree may be advantageous.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software for engineering design and drafting.
- Strong understanding of road and rail alignment principles, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience in transportation infrastructure projects preferred.
- Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
