Civil Engineer

Job Overview:
As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and participating in the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure projects. These projects may include roads, bridges, buildings, airports, dams, water supply systems, and sewage treatment plants. Your role will involve collaborating with architects, urban planners, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Conduct site investigations to gather information for project feasibility studies.
Prepare detailed designs, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Evaluate project proposals and provide technical advice on feasibility, cost estimates, and scheduling.
Perform calculations and analysis for structural integrity, earthwork, hydraulics, and other aspects of projects.
Liaise with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
Supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree may be preferred for certain positions.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
