The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Civil & Structural- Senior Engineer (Structural Analysis- FEA), who will be responsible for the candidate needs to have experience on Linear and non-linear FE Analysis using ABAQUS. You will need to be strong communicator, attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.
In this role, you will undertake the following duties:
Key Attributes

- Drive safe and efficient delivery of technically challenging projects.
- Cultural awareness and emotional intelligence needed to communicate effectively with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.
- Can provide training and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Has a desire to innovate and enhance the efficiency of structural designs.
Design and Analytical Skills
- Experience of offshore structural design and analysis.
- An understanding of the fundamentals of structural engineering and of relevant offshore structural codes and standards.
- Linear and non-linear FE Analysis using ABAQUS, with a minimum 5 years of experience.
- Should have good knowledge of Linear and non-linear structural analysis, static and dynamic analysis, Eigen analysis and modal analysis involving material, geometry and contact non-linearity
- Should have good experience in verification and interpretation of FEA results
- Experience in DNV SESAM, USFOS and similar packages will be added advantage.
- Technical understanding of environmental wave loading is preferred.
Delivery Background
- Proven success in helping to deliver structural projects against external and internal time, cost and quality objectives.
- Ability to report, interpret and communicate the engineering implications of complex analysis results to colleagues and clients, including the implications of problems encountered in the delivery of work.
- Experience of applying appropriate quality assurance and reporting.
Knowledge/Skills and Experience:
10-15 years of basic and detail engineering experience in Upstream Oil & Gas, Refinery, & Petrochemical industry. Candidates having experience in Engineering office of Reputed Consulting Engineering. Companies preferably in the field of Refinery, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Oil & Gas will be preferred.
Qualification/ Certification:
Masters/Bachelor of Engineering OR Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering
Skills Requirement:
- International Codes & Standards and Best Engineering Practices that apply to Automation.
- Basic awareness of quality management system and procedures
- General understanding of project management and control procedures
