What you need to know about the role:
As the Program Manager for Business Operations, you will work as part of the office of the India Site Leader, PayPal India Technology Centers.

Job Description:

You will work directly with the India Site leaders to drive strategy and programs for the Bangalore Technology Center. By owning key elements of Business Operations, you will be responsible for driving strategic programs that are aimed at enhancing the value that the Bangalore technology center adds to PayPal.

Your way to impact

• You will be responsible to bring in discipline and execution focus to the center priorities by setting up program management frameworks, governance and reporting structures, measurement KPIs, review cadence etc.
• You will be responsible for working closely with senior leaders in the Bangalore Site and leaders from key support functions (Facilities, IT, Outreach, HR, Communications, Finance etc.) in forming collaborative teams that help execute the center priorities

Your day to day In your day to day role you will

• You will be responsible for operationalizing and sustaining processes that emerge out of Center priorities and other initiatives
• You will work closely with counterparts from other centers for cross center collaboration in driving the PayPal’s India center priorities
• You will be responsible for risk management of the center by working closely with Enterprise Risk Management team in devising Business Continuity planning, Risk Mitigation processes etc.
• You will help in facilitating Audit & compliance processes for the Bangalore center by identifying & working with POC’s and Key stake holders.

• 8+ year experience in at least one or more areas — Strategy, Operations, Program Management and Project management.
• Demonstrated execution excellence in driving large scale programs/ projects that have multiple dependencies
• Demonstrated experience creating, and managing exec level proposals and presentations.
• Professional experience in program and project management.
• Engagement expertise, and passion for delighting employees & internal stake holder, advocating on their behalf, creating great employee experiences.
• Influence without authority: Experience navigating large cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable challenging the status quo by proposing innovative approaches.
• Experience participating in transformations programs and bringing employees and stakehoders on the same page.
• Critical thinking and strategic insight based on data.

• Strong working knowledge of external systems, PC based internet and software applications ( Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Working knowledge of analytics & reporting  tools and applications (Excel, Tableau, SQL or similar) is a critical skills for success
• Bachelor’s or Masters’ Degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.

Other aspects that make the candidature a definite plus

• Working in Product organization or a related technology company
• Knowledge of the payments domain/Fin Tech Industry is an added advantage.
• Understand voice of the organization and employee pulse.
• Understanding employee listening programs to maximize employee listening and engagement .
