Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Testing Manager to lead key testing initiatives and programs within the Commercial & Money Movement Services (CMS) Ops & Strategy team. This role involves the management of operational testing programs, toolsets, and processes as well as leading a team of testers responsible for carrying out the established programs and processes.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced money-movement/payments/financial services lead with a strong understanding of systems testing and client integration testing. The candidate will have the self-starter mentality and testing acumen to drive testing initiatives and implement testing toolsets, programs, and processes into teams and ecosystems. The candidate will be an analytical and strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and leadership abilities. The candidate will possess a unique combination of problem-solving ability, flexibility with rapid changes, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational transaction testing programs, processes, and tools for client integration testing and production validation testing in collaboration with cross-functional product, technology, and client services teams

• Lead testers who will be executing testing using established programs, processes and tools

• Gain familiarity with digital payment technologies and the payments ecosystem, as well as the Visa Commercial & Money Movement Solutions product suite, including platform expertise, market readiness, product features, global nuances, and existing testing processes

• Evaluate existing processes and tools and recommend improvements and new solutions (both buy and build)

• Contribute to the strategic vision of tooling, processes and programs for end-to-end client testing and provide feedback and guidance to the team on best practices, processes, and standards

• Ability to integrate testing tools and programs into an organization and ecosystem

• Support ongoing management of existing testing tool capabilities, managing enhancement requests, tooling roadmap, and user acceptance testing

• Liaise with external vendors to implement and manage test automation software

• Define KPIs and success metrics, track and analyze progress against goals

• Monitor tooling & program adoption, identify opportunities and make recommendations to drive uptake and effectiveness

• Provide reporting and recommendations to leadership on an ongoing basis

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of testing automation and familiarity with system and client integration testing is a must
• Knowledge of payment systems (card networks, ACH, RTP, digital wallets) and money movement preferred
• Self-starter mentality with ability to learn quickly and lead projects and programs in a fast-paced and agile environment
• Strong project management or program management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across a breadth of stakeholders, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures
• Possess a high level of professionalism and leadership skills to manage a team, build business relationships, trust and respect with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Ability to influence, negotiate and drive results successfully within a highly matrixed organization, ensuring that timelines are adhered to and any risks to programs are called out early
