Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth through both channel partners and direct enterprise sales efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of sales strategies, channel management, and enterprise sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Channel Partner Management:
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to expand market reach and increase sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners to drive sales growth and meet revenue targets.
- Provide training, support, and resources to channel partners to ensure they are equipped to effectively promote and sell our products/services.
- Monitor partner performance, track sales metrics, and provide regular reporting on channel sales activities.
2. Enterprise Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target and acquire new enterprise clients.
- Identify key decision-makers within target companies and establish relationships to understand their needs and pain points.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that address the specific requirements of enterprise clients.
- Lead the sales process from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
3. Sales Pipeline Management:
- Manage and prioritize sales opportunities to maximize revenue generation and achieve sales targets.
- Track sales activities, leads, and opportunities in CRM systems to maintain accurate forecasts and reporting.
- Implement sales best practices and processes to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
4. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and areas for growth.
- Use competitive intelligence to differentiate our offerings and develop compelling value propositions.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in channel sales, enterprise sales, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Steel / Metal / TMT.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and methodologies.
- Experience managing channel partners and/or indirect sales channels is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
