Opportunity
The candidate will work dedicatedly supporting the Middle Office operations and Product Control division of one of Acuity’s clients and will be responsible for handling end-to-end processes for Middle Office operations & product control, risk analysis, monitoring and reporting, and reconciliation, among others. The candidate will be in direct interaction with client and responsible for the process ownership and final delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
l Supporting our clients on setting up and managing processes for:
o Product control & Financial control reporting
o Middle Office operations
o Risk analysis & reporting
o Trade reconciliation and internal audits
l Managing delivery and execution of recurring and ad hoc tasks including daily P&L attribution & reporting, risk sensitivities reporting, balance sheet substantiation & control, ledger adjustments & month-end reporting, regulatory reporting etc.
l Managing project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure “high client satisfaction”
l Conducting analysis and performing quality control check of the outgoing reports/packs
l Demonstrate strength and flair in client/requester relationship building and management, information/knowledge needs assessment
Required Background
l MBA/ CFA/ CA
l Middle office or Control function experience in the Investment banking or Hedge fund space
l Strong statistical and analytical skills to reconciliation and settlements variance reporting and analysis for clients
l Sound knowledge of financial markets with hands on experience in Equities, Fixed income products, Derivatives, Securitized products, Swaps, etc.
l Experience and good understanding of Middle office & Back Office operations, Trade life cycle management and Independent price verification would be an added advantage
l The candidate should have the ability to work independently
l Ability to understand client requirements and execute work under pressure especially on short time bound deadlines
l Excellent written and spoken communication skills
l MS Office skills – should be good in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word
