The Account Manager will be the engine for the accounts and will play an important role in the development of plans for each of our clients, addressing business requirements or concerns with the right solutions and then leading the team to execute flawlessly. He / She will lead all aspects of planning and execution including communications, event management, brand reputation management, effective media relations, and influencer relations for the clients. The ideal candidate will be a naturally curious individual, constantly consuming, reading, listening and meeting stakeholders to stay on top of cultural trends, consumer behavior and the media agenda. He / She will have an eagle eye for details, a quick learning curve, ability to understand complex issues and demonstrate awareness and curiosity to propose qualified opinions on how to communicate the clients’ visions to the world. Knowledge & flexibility to adapt to the new landscape around digital world would be an added advantage. 1. Leads, manages and executes multiple client operations including media advisories, weekly reports and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets and quality standards 2. Contributes in developing client plans along with the team to create key communication messages across the traditional and digital platforms 3. Helps clients navigate dynamic communications environment, relevant trends, important influencers & proactively works towards managing their reputation 4. Actively builds and nurtures client relationships to build trust, confidence and client satisfaction. 5. Builds relationship with all key journalists and influencers in client universe 6. Works closely with the Account Directors / Group Heads in generating new business leads 7. Motivates the team regularly to improve the client satisfaction score and client retention ratio 8. Assist the team to keep track of upcoming news stories and preparing media pitches & oversee the execution of plans Desired Skill Sets : · Master's / Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication / PR / Journalism or MBA in Marketing· 5-12+ Years' experience in PR / Media· Work effectively with team members in-market and across the network;· Entrepreneurial spirit and Commercial / acumen· Excellent Oral and Written communication skills· Having worked in the Auto Industry is a plus.
