I. Role Purpose & Objective :
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Business Project to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing strategic projects within Banking Operations, ensuring successful execution and delivery. As Head of Business Project, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, interface with stakeholders, and drive initiatives that contribute to the overall success and growth of the bank.
II. Key Duties & Responsibilities Of The Role :
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines.
- Deep knowledge of Banking Operations processes and enforce compliance high level of compliance standards.
- Execute projects according to the established plan, ensuring delivery within scope, on time, and within budget.
- Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful outcomes.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet or exceed established standards.
- Conduct regular project reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations. Communicate project progress, milestones, and potential issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Manage project resources effectively, including budget allocation and utilization of personnel.
- Optimize resource allocation to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure vendor due diligence, practice of thoroughly assessing and managing risks associated with third party service provider.
III. Minimum Requirements Of Knowledge & Skills :
Educational Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in business, Project Management, or a related field.
- MBA or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Experience :
- Proven experience (15+ years) in project management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of Banking Operations, products, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Functional Skills :
- Able to manage projects budgets effectively and able to track project expenses and ensure that is completed within the budget.
- Good understanding of technical aspects of projects
- Able to identify and manage projects risk mitigation strategies to reduce the impact of risks on the projects.
- Ensure that projects deliverables meet the required quality standards
