Your Role:
Own and ensure high-quality, at-cost, and on-time delivery of the assigned product
• Monitor Sprint metrics (e.g., Sprint velocity, defect rate etc.) of assigned product to ensure all engineering output delivered to support product releases is high quality, completed efficiently leveraging GP best practices
• Develop and track release including modules/program requirements of technical product roadmap, coordinating with Software Engineering Managers to ensure resources and timelines.
• Support engineering resource staffing onto product engineering team by coordinating among Lead, Technical Program Managers , and with competency managers
Design and develop technical product roadmap to ensure delivery to product roadmap
• Define the release plan for platforms based on breakdown of product features into modules based on customer requests and engineering efforts.
• Develop product development workplan (including external team resources) by estimating time and resources required, and identifying inter-dependencies and risks
• Refine or update technical product roadmap as needed during the product development phase, to reflect available resources and accommodate updates in product roadmap
• Ensure API design is well documented and meets customers standards, developing or coordinating the development of sample code for complex implementation reference.
Collaborate with Product Manager and Software Development Manager to refine product roadmap
• Provide inputs on technical feasibility, resource requirement, timeline, conflicts, HMI feedback etc.
Your Background :
• Ability to drive full ownership of delivery for a specific product
• Proven experience managing a variety of tasks and multiple product engineering teams
• Collaborative leader who can easily cultivate trust in order to promote teamwork and cooperation
• Deep technical expertise of assigned product and knowledge of product engineering best practices within and beyond the Automotive industry
• Embodiment of company values & adherence to highest professional standards; ability to create & maintain a positive & engaging employee culture
