In Generative AI Service team, you will build and operate massive-scale cloud services leveraging state of art machine learning technologies. As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for working with multiple teams to plan & implement multiple large technical development projects including definition of end-to-end roadmap, risk management, resource & security process tracking, problem solving and communication of issues & outcomes to senior management.
Responsibilities
- Help define and deliver critical programs with competing priorities by influencing roadmaps and priorities of key stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams across timezones to establish and maintain our roadmaps, set appropriate expectations, and ensure the services meet our high operational excellence standards.
- Take large, complex projects, break them down into manageable pieces, build detailed project schedules, then drive the delivery in a successful and timely manner.
- Perform capacity planning, infrastructure cost monitoring, reporting, and ensuring other organizational programs are implemented on-time
- Run operational programs like on-call rotation, cloud operations maturity, annual assessments, production & business metrics tracking
- Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
- Identify process gaps, improve current processes, and establish organizational procedures for optimized efficiency, productivity, engineering and operational excellence
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. Lead interactions with cross functional teams consisting of UX designers, engineers, machine learning engineers, product managers and executive leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; CSM and PMP are a plus
- 8+ years managing large scale technical software programs.
- Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent judgment to influence product roadmap direction, features, and priorities.
- Understanding of SDLC and modern application development involving cloud, CI/CD, DevSecOps concepts and tools
- A demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically.
- Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment.
- Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) at different levels in the org, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience using agile software development practices and associated tooling
Preferred Qualifications:
- Individual Contributor or Manager background in large-scale, distributed systems development in cloud Knowledge or experience in machine learning, applied science, data science or Generative AI areas

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
