Job Purpose
Team Manager- Electrical and Electronics is a part of the Product Development Electrical & Electronics team and responsible for Wiring harness schematics and IVN Architecture.
Key Responsibilities
The Incumbent will be required to perform the following:-
- Good Knowledge on Harness circuit schematics design and In-Vehicle Networking
- Good knowledge on overall circuit integration with strong basics of electrical & electronics component working principle.
- Excellent Knowledge about fuse selection, wire rating finalization based on voltage drop calculations
- Very good Knowledge in defining the modular E & E architecture, function partitioning, Wiring harness topology, communication network, CAN message matrix and power distribution keeping cost, weight, scalable, W/H complexity and safety targets.
- Good knowledge on Creo Schematics, e-simulate or Capital Logic.
- Good Knowledge on Virtual Electrical stress analysis tools
- Very good knowledge on CAN topology and electrical safety design norms
- Knowledge in the conceptualization, design and electrical component selection
- Hands on experience in Handling Projects and Documentation
- Knowledge of E&E relevant national and International standards
- Knowledge of DFMEA/DFM/DFS process
- Knowledge of PLM tools like Windchill & Harness component database management
Work Experience
Education
Bachelors in Engineering (Electronics and communication / Electrical / Mechatronics)
Experience
- 14-20 years of post-qualification experience as schematics and architecture of Automotive E&E
- Knowledge on interfacing of components like Lighting /switches / ECUs in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge on Harness topology and IVN physical layer definition
- Good knowledge on overall circuit integration with strong basics of electrical/electronics component working principle.
- Good hands on knowledge on Creo Schematics, e-simulate or Capital Logic
- Hands-on experience in load calculations, simulation of circuits is a must
- Experience in tools like PREEVISION or Enterprise Architect is advantage
- Exposure to ISO26262 Functional safety is desired
- Hands-on experience in Root cause analysis and debugging is a must
- Exposure to EMI/EMC standards is a plus
- Experience in the auto industry OEMs on Schematics and IVNArchitecture
