Position Purpose

Packagers with working knowledge on packaging, Compliance Test, User Acceptance Tests.

Packager will be responsible for end-to-end packaging and maintaining infrastructure used for packaging.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·       Hands on experience in Windows, Admin Studio, SCCM, scripting & VSphere [Virtual Infrastructure].

·       Update: Package request for an application that is already packaged (version upgrade, etc.)

·       New Application: Package request for an application that has never been Packaged

·       Rework: Package modification request following UAT with the returned error code: "Failed: Missing data or information from owner". This requires one of the following modifications:

Files modification

Entries modification in the registry database

Icons modification

       Customs action modification

·       Work on recurrent packages – TNS related packages.

·       Responsible for clean-up actions on SCCM and Virtual Infrastructure

·       Documentation of process.

·       Expertise in prioritizing workloads and delivering applications within specified SLAs.

·       Good Knowledge and working experience on Application Virtualization tools APP-V 5.1

Contributing Responsibilities

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Technical Tools: SCCM, Admin Studio, Wise Package Studio, App-V, AppDNA, Picture taker, Install rite.

Scripting VB Script, Batch Script and Powershell.       

Operating System: Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 and Windows 7, Windows 8.1 & Windows 10.

·       Hands on Knowledge of Adminstudio

·       Hands on knowledge of creating all kinds of packages

·       Well versed with creating complex packages.

·       Should be able to handle assigned tasks with little supervision from team leader.

·       Ready to work in shift [no night shift], On call and holiday support.  

·       Ready to work in Hybrid work model [ 5 days[ 3:2] in 2 weeks from WFO]

Knowledge in FRENCH will be an added advantage
