Senior Procurement Analyst
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with procurement and business partners to assess their business needs and contribute meaningfully to the development of procurement and category management strategies
Support Digitalization strategy with execution of various automation & digitalization projects
Develop & maintain various e-Tools / digital tools to manage Procurement data
Populate and maintain complex databases and apply analytical tools, techniques and systems to analyze and interpret a wide range of supplier and organizational information and options to support procurement planning and decision making. Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks.
Undertake research, cost modelling and analysis of supply markets to identify opportunities and inform sourcing strategies
Conduct spend analysis in relevant procurement categories with the aim to support defining the category strategy, as well as the most effective supplier relationship. model
Translate category strategy and supplier relationship model into the design of tender (eRFP, eAuction etc) and negotiation processes together with the global category leaders
Develop and provide reports to support effective management of supplier performance and to track and report on benefits delivered
Apply risk management and compliance checks when researching and analyzing supply markets and contract performance to identify potential risks and trigger risk mitigation and management responses
Required education, experience, knowledge:
Data analysis. Expert knowledge in Excel.
Microsoft Power Platform Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate knowhow.
IT skills Agile Methodology, SQL, JAVA, API Integrations, Application development / deployment
Experience in the Procurement Function and Strategic Sourcing Processes / related tools development
e-Procurement knowledge
University degree
Required skills & expertise:
High proficiency in English is mandatory
High-skilled Project Management Capabilities
Ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders from all hierarchy levels
Ability to embrace and understand a complex business environment; while being able to keep attention to the detail related to targets and deadlines
A self-starter and pro-active approach to the category management support tasks
