Job Description
Hardware Service Operations Administrator will be responsible for the operational processing and fulfillment for various hardware peripherals including keyboards, mice, monitors, docking stations, mobile phones, external webcams, laptop stands, laptop chargers, wireless headphones and other equipment as required. Your role will involve coordinating with suppliers, tracking orders, maintaining inventory levels, accurate ordering and ensuring timely delivery of hardware peripherals.
Aligned to a specific set of Technology Services within the Service Management & Governance group is responsible for the successful delivery of services in accordance with both the WTW standards and contractual agreements with partners, to meet business requirements and align to company and business segment strategies.
Responsibilities
- Complete the order with a high degree of accuracy based on internal requirements and specifications for hardware peripherals.
- Ensure the timeliness and completeness of purchase orders, including product details, quantities, pricing, and delivery dates. Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order acceptance and provide necessary communication.
- Monitor the progress of hardware peripheral orders, from placement to delivery.
- Track shipment statuses, proactively address any delays or issues, and update stakeholders on the expected delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of order details and ensure timely receipt of hardware peripherals.
- Maintain an organized inventory system for hardware peripherals.
- Regularly reconcile inventory levels, update stock records, and coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Consistent and quality service delivery to WTW colleagues with the procurement of required hardware peripherals that enable colleagues to work in a flexible office arrangement or from home.
- Efficient and effective procurement of hardware peripherals to WTW colleagues globally.
- Greater oversight, efficiency, and cost savings with the delivery of hardware peripherical for designated WTW locations and individuals.
- Solves challenges in locations where hardware peripheral self-service is not feasible or cost effective.
- 1-2 years of formal or demonstrated proficiency in Supply Chain Operations, Procurement Operations, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in hardware procurement operations or a similar procurement role, preferably in an IT or technology-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of hardware peripherals, including keyboards, mice, monitors, docking stations, mobile phones, external HD webcams, laptop stands, laptop chargers, and wireless headphones.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor operations management.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for purchase order management as well as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in using IT Service Management tools (Service Now), MS Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with inventory management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to think analytically.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance standards.
Bachelor's degree
