Principal responsibilities:
Accountable to the Head of Transformation as well as local stakeholders, the role holder will be required to:
- Ensure appropriate skillsets are developed to assist the delivery of global strategic change programmes and business transformation for the Group.
- Responsible for people management performance management, resource management, professional development and capability uplift within the Transformation team in India
- Support senior stakeholders in achieving standardization, generating value and in ensuring alignment with the wider change portfolio and the team and group strategy, values and behaviors
- Ensure high quality delivery of programmes, adhering to HSBC core frameworks (Change Framework, Agile)
- Ensure strategic deliveries are adopted and commercialized appropriately.
- Be well-informed about emerging technology and innovation and how this can be applied to solve challenges and improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the Bank's proposition and customer and colleague experience.
- Governance should be in accordance with Group standards policy and procedures.
- The role requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of transformation disciplines (current and evolving) and is expected to embed a culture of continuous learning and skills development across the direct team as well as to influence others across MSS Transformation and relevant stakeholders.
- The lead needs to be an ambitious change agent who will lead a strategic change programme as well as being accountable for developing teams and streamlining existing processes
