What you’ll do: 

Principal Responsibilities

• Support the Regional Head of Risk Strategy and Governance, ASP WPB to direct the effective identification, monitoring, management, and oversight on non-financial risks concerning the WPB business in ASP. The jobholder ensures risks are captured, understood, clearly communicated, and as required, escalated to stakeholders within the region and to Group WPB Risk.
• Support ASP markets in implementing and adhering to the Group Credit Polices and Risk Management Framework. Provide guidance and best practices to ASP markets to ensure applicable governance are adhered to.
• Support ASP markets in identifying opportunities to enhance in-market controls and provide improvement suggestions to enhance risk taxonomy and control library of Retail Processing Risk.
• Review of risks and key controls through end-to-end process walkthroughs, events or thematic reviews, data-driven reviews or issue read across.
• Continuously improve the Non-Financial Risk Oversight periodic reporting for WPB Risk by developing meaningful insights and organize Risk and Control Oversight governance forums.
• Support the Regional oversight of audits, regulatory requirements, and governance processes in relation to Retail Credit.  Ensure proper controls and monitoring process are in place to provide early warnings on risks and performance issues.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure processes and strategies are effective and continuously challenged for improvement.
• Develop a positive working relationships with markets, Business, 2LODs and internal audit within WPB.
