The Job responsibilities would include supervising the team as well as independently managing the below mentioned work:
Non- Regulatory Litigation and Non- Litigation:
- Manage civil, criminal and consumer forum cases filed by and against the company.
- Drafting and vetting of agreements, NDA, BG and various documents as may be required by various internal departments of the company.
- Effectively Draft and Vet all Agreements, Contracts, Bank Guarantees, Board Agenda and other documents as may be required.
- To provide Opinions, interpretations on regulatory issues, Circulars and on Bye laws, Rules and Business Rules of the Exchange.
- Attend before law enforcement agencies and courts to represent the company for any matter by or against the company or attending as a witness for providing documents and co-operating with the authorities.
Regulatory Litigation and Non- Litigation
- Managing cases filed against the exchange before Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT).
- Drafting and Vetting of Show Cause Notices and Orders issued to the Members for enforcing regulatory action.
- Managing the adjudication proceedings initiated against the exchange by regulator in consultation with the lawyers.
- To advice various departments about the process, practice to be followed by them for complying with the regulatory requirements.
- Drafting, Vetting and incorporating changes to theBye-Laws, Rules & Regulations (Business Rules) of the Exchange.
Administrative work
- Preparation of MIS and briefing management about pending cases, coordinating with Counsels and undertake office administration work of the department.
- Providing the requisite documents, information to various internal and external auditors.
