Responsibilities:
Non-Litigation Expertise:- Provide expert legal advice and support on non-litigation matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to non-litigation transactions.
Government Project Understanding:- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the legal intricacies surrounding Indian government projects, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess legal risks associated with government initiatives and propose mitigation strategies. RFP, RFQ, and Tender Management:
- Manage the end-to-end process of responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and Tenders.
- Draft and review tender documents, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate with internal teams to compile comprehensive and compliant responses.
Contract Management:- Oversee the lifecycle of contracts related to government projects, ensuring adherence to contractual terms and obligations.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and address legal issues during the execution phase.
Legal Compliance:
- Stay abreast of changes in legislation and regulations affecting government projects, and provide proactive advice to ensure compliance.
- Develop and conduct legal training programs for internal teams on relevant legal aspects.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Law; a master's degree is preferred.
Experience : Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Legal Manager with a focus on non-litigation matters and expertise in Indian government projects.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Indian contract laws, government regulations, and project-related legal frameworks.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
