Work You’ll Do:
Strategic
- Serve as leader of Global Finance Center (GFC) and partner with the leadership to build and manage the execution of strategic plans for service delivery and compliance
- Define short-term and long-terms strategies for each team/ department within the GFC in line with organisation strategy.
- Work with leaders of business units and external organizations, design and manage organizational initiatives
- Coordinate in Continuous improvement and establishment of Center of Excellence to develop the GFC to a world class organisation.
Operational
- Maintain a thorough understanding of existing policies, processes, and systems with a focus on simplifying, standardizing, and implementing best practices globally.
- Improve internal control environment to monitor transaction risk and financial exposure.
- Develops and monitors service level agreements and publish meaningful metrices.
- Collaborate and effectively manage relationship with stakeholder (Corporate finance, Controllers, GSM, etc.,) to align on outcomes, deliver on timelines, manage projects and communicate on challenges faced.
- Guide the Managers/ Team leaders in executing their respective responsibilities towards the achievement of GFC goals and objectives
- Support and collaborate with Human Resources, Administrative and IT functions that are required for effective operations of GFC.
People
- Develop people to meet both their career goals and organization’s goals
- Establish the performance plans for direct subordinates: Managers/ Team leaders.
- Guide Managers/ Team leaders in establishing performance plans for their respective subordinates.
- Participate in the identification of training and development initiatives for the employees within the GFC.
- Drive the engagement and satisfaction of employees within GFC by holding periodic meetings to discuss the achievements of GFC and address any employee issues and/or concerns.
- Recruit strong team of professionals and manage turnover below industry benchmarks.
Team:
This role will be setup in the Hillenbrand Global shared service Organization – Coimbatore, India. This role will have the opportunity to work with and learn from teams that are geographically diverse (Asia, Europe, and North America)
Basic Qualifications:
- CA/CMA with minimum 10 years of experience in finance management.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience with large, automated accounting system.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills required.
