The Purpose of This Role
Customer Solutions Chapter Leader/SENIOR MANAGER – BUSINESS ANALYST is a blend a deep level of expertise for delivering product solutions with a passion for hiring, developing and leading people. In our agile structure, you will function both independently and as a manager of 3-5 associates. This allows you to enable your team to grow and develop in their area of expertise and ensure alignment on the “how” the work they perform in squads. You are chief advocate for Chapter excellence and actively engage in Chapter initiatives.
As a Chapter Leader about half of your time will be focused on working in a squad environment using your expertise to increase squad performance for the benefit of the business and our clients. You will provide effective product leadership and management of the product backlog with a focus on communication, risk mitigation, quality assurance, effective delivery and building positive relationships.
You will be a key member of a newly formed squad within the Digital Shared Services product area working closely with a dedicated team responsible for delivering on the DSS goals of supporting all aspects of our business capabilities and consumers through the continuous delivery of cloud-ready APIs and advancing our reusable microservice architecture to accelerate time to market, improve our customer experience and reduce technology risk.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Experience spanning across Business/System Analysis, Project/Program Management and People Leadership
- Familiarity of the technical architecture of web and mobile applications, and may have direct experience with developer tooling, APIs, SDKs, and app ecosystems.
- Familiarity with test automation, integration testing, web and mobile testing tools and practices to deliver quality software in every release.
- Experience across product development lifecycle – including Business Analysis & research, business process mapping, and the documentation of business requirements, user acceptance testing and product deployment.
- Agile experience with Jira or similar Agile backlog management tool preferred

- Participate in defining product vision and roadmap, then assist with quarterly planning activities and ongoing prioritization of squad backlog
- Assist with the elaboration of Epics, Themes and Features into user stories that are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint
- Partner effectively to develop a strong team that that enables its members to work successfully within the Scrum framework
- Act as a role model and promote Fidelity leadership behaviors to build an innovative, agile culture
- Work with key partners to define product features and maintain awareness of internal and external market trends
- Establish positive relationships with key business, IT and Legal, Compliance, and Risk partners to drive initiatives to completion
- Supporting and mentoring chapter members to enable them to deliver more value in their squads

The Customer Solutions Chapter works closely with a team of cross-functional, multi-disciplinary, and dedicated team members responsible for delivering specific business goals aligned to the Workplace Investing Product Roadmap. Customer Solutions is a global organization of approximately 200 business professionals and our mission is to drive the realization of results by translating business objectives into concrete plans and solutions that drive customer value! We support Business and Technology delivery of prioritized work using Agile and scrum techniques within Fidelity Workplace Investing. The Chapter is comprised of four pillars that support the domains making up the Fidelity Workplace Investing Agile organization.
