There is an exciting opportunity to join the LEGO branded channel to be part of a pioneering team as we bring LEGO retail to the India market. We are faced with the rare opportunity to Map the landscape as we bring play to the children of India with the aspiration of inspiring the builders of tomorrow.

Core Responsibilities:
LCS Account Management
Opportunity to develop and land a High decibel launch plan for the LEGO Branded channel (LEGO CERTIFIED STORES - LCS) for the very first time in India
Comes with a strategic and growth driven mindset. Crafting and executing a clear strategic roadmap for the LCS Branded channel for India
Developing and nurturing strong long-term relationships with retail partners ensuring the. compliance with confidentiality and privacy.
Governance of brand health within the LCS channel to ensure all consumers have an experience in line with the LEGO brand expectations.
Work closely with regional teams to ensure constructive cooperation with customers through excellent account management.
Set and manage budgets including sales goals, KPIS and expense control.
Actively engage and collaborate with the sales team to represent LCS and LDC and contribute to an overall market approach for the LEGO brand.
Reporting and Commercial Analysis
Undertake all routine reporting for the LCS channels and provide insights to Senior Management and internal stakeholders. This includes but not limited to:
In-stock reporting
Sell through rates
D2C performance
Retail KPIS
UPT
ATV
Foot Fall
Provide routine commercial analysis to internal stakeholders based on market trends and retail data as well as regular account performance updates.
Monitor and track brand and sales performance through monthly reports and scorecard / KPI tracking.
Strategy & Planning
Utilizing commercial analytics and insights, develop and execute account business plan and yearly trade plan collaborating with internal cross functional teams.
Set seasonal D2C campaign strategy and plan to drive high infinity engagement and brand recruitment.
Build a variety of strategic and mutually beneficial relationships with 3rd parties (e.g. Disney) to enhance the experience of the end consumer.
Monitor customer sell-in and sell-thru ensuring that inventory is within manageable levels to sustain a healthy and profitable business.
Initiating and implement account specific sales program in line with seasonal requirements and driving store healthy growth
LCS Trade Marketing
In collaboration with Trade Marketing team, drive an innovative and engaging experience within the retail stores to drive brand recruitment and enhance brand health.
Oversee and measure instore trade execution.
Responsible spend of allocated LCS trade budget in collaboration with the trade team.
Ensure consistent brand standards especially in areas of visual presentation, product management, PR and marketing, operations.
Accountability for seasonal plan programming & store refresh to enhance the consumer path to purchase.
Workplace Health & Safety
Ensure that all LEGO Group workplace health and safety standards are being adhered to and contribute to a safety culture.

The LCS team is a young and growing part of the LEGO Indias sales team.
The aim of the LEGO Certified Store (LCS) strategy is to build the LEGO Brand, increase brand awareness, enhance partner performance, deliver exceptional customer service, expand the LEGO business quickly and efficiently while establishing consistency.
LCS is pegged to be one of the main drivers of growth in India and will be a high focus area for India. A dedicated Key Account Manager is needed to envision the LEGO Branded store business in India, create and execute the launch and expansion strategy, manage partnerships, and ensure a premium LEGO retail experience across the high-quality branded store.
The purpose of this position is to establish, implement and manage the account business plan in India while delivering the growth objective.
The successful applicant is expected to bring strong account management, brand building & relationship management expertise to drive the success of the LEGO branded channel and innovate for the future.
The role of the LCS KAM is to represent TLG in their day-to-day interactions with our business partners, bringing to life and delivering on our Partner Promise, and in true LEGO fashion, have fun doing it and bring the LEGO play experience to many more children in India.
Do you have what it takes
8-10 years of relevant experience in Account Management/Sales experience within retail business.
Business-related field BA degree is preferred, MBA will be a plus
Entrepreneurial Drive and experience of managing premium brands
Experience in running and managing retail brick and mortar stores, either directly operated or through franchise partners.
Comprehensive understanding of overall retail brand store concept, management, and structure.
Sound knowledge and understanding of Retail KPIs and how can be used to drive store performance.
Ownership, adaptable, can-do attitude.
Excellent collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical skills, a passion for data metrics and the ability to turn plans into execution/achievements.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, including responsiveness and attention to detail and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
KPI management and joint business planning experience
Nice to have:
