Corporate Strategy profession with a focus on the TMT domain will play a pivotal role in advising our TMT clients on key strategic decisions and driving their growth in an ever-changing industry. Leveraging deep understanding of the TMT sector, market trends, and disruptive technologies, the candidate is expected to collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and implement comprehensive corporate strategies. Candidate's strategic vision and ability to anticipate industry shifts will be instrumental in guiding our TMT clients to maintain a competitive edge and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Our TMT consulting practice in India focuses on bringing together our Indian and global network resources around our clients' needs, creating teams to help respond to challenges around almost every dimension of their business. Our clients are majorly spread across India, Africa, Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
Job Summary:

Corporate Strategy profession with a focus on the TMT domain will play a pivotal role in advising our TMT clients on key strategic decisions and driving their growth in an ever-changing industry. Leveraging deep understanding of the TMT sector, market trends, and disruptive technologies, the candidate is expected to collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and implement comprehensive corporate strategies. Candidate's strategic vision and ability to anticipate industry shifts will be instrumental in guiding our TMT clients to maintain a competitive edge and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Typical roles and responsibilities for the role are as below:
- Candidate to have strong subject matter knowledge and think creatively to solve large-scale problems for TMT clients across India and global markets. We look for self-driven individuals that can work effectively in an unstructured work environment and work very closely with project teams to support clients' needs.
- Understand and define the business problems and co-create the proposed solution. Leverage essential knowledge of the leading practices in the industry to develop project scope and approach to solve client problems
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis including data mining, analysis, perform market and secondary research to collect business intelligence and insights
- Work collaboratively with the team in developing project deliverables meeting and exceeding client service and quality standards
- Deliver client commitments within time/budget constraints
- Drive business development opportunities by proactively translating thought leadership and delivery execution to follow on project opportunities and analysis into consulting
- Develop internal knowledge collateral to help drive the thought leadership within and outside the firm
- Willing to travel internationally and work on site 50-70% of the time at client locations.
Key Project Activities:

- Conduct in-depth analysis of the TMT industry, including technology trends, market dynamics, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes, to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with senior executives and stakeholders to define the strategic direction and long-term vision for our TMT clients' organizations.
- Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the clients' objectives, considering factors such as market positioning, revenue growth, M&A opportunities, and expansion into new markets.
- Perform financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning to assess the potential impact of strategic initiatives and support decision-making.
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisition targets within the TMT sector to enhance our clients' capabilities and market presence.
- Facilitate workshops and strategic planning sessions to gather insights, build consensus, and foster alignment among key stakeholders.
- Monitor and track industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in the TMT domain to identify new business opportunities for our clients.
- Present strategic recommendations and findings to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner, demonstrating the value of proposed initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology experts, market researchers, and financial analysts, to ensure successful execution of strategic plans.
- Continuously evaluate the performance and impact of implemented strategies, making data-driven adjustments as needed to drive desired outcomes.
Key Skills:
- Deep understanding of the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications industries, including key players, market trends, and disruptive technologies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and the capacity to think critically and creatively.
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis relevant to the TMT domain.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills and ability to deal with top corporate clients, large enterprises including CXOs and Senior leadership.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects with competing priorities effectively.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and successfully driving strategic initiatives in the TMT sector.
- Candidate should be self-driven with an ability to deliver in high pressure environment
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across different departments and levels of an organization
- A passion for continuous learning, innovation, and staying ahead of TMT industry trends.
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in corporate strategy development within a management consulting firm, with a specific focus on the TMT sector.
- Experience in management consulting or a similar strategic advisory role is highly desirable
- Advance working knowledge of with MS-Office tools (Visio, Excel, Power Point, and other tools).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
