Internship Type: Paid
Internship Location: Nova Benefits HQ, Bengaluru
Duration: Minimum 3 months
Stipend Details: 10-15k per month
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation adhering to ISO 27001, GDPR, DPDP, and IRDAI requirements.
- Actively contribute to fostering a security-conscious environment throughout the organization through awareness campaigns and training sessions.
- Engage in data clearance activities to ensure the secure handling and disposal of sensitive information.
- Maintain access control lists and software/hardware asset inventory to ensure compliance with the principle of least privilege.
- Assist in hardening workstations for new employees to enhance overall security posture.
- Conduct assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities in web applications, ensuring robust security measures.
- Perform load testing on production applications to assess performance under varying conditions and identify potential security risks.
- Audit and strengthen access controls around services to prevent unauthorized access and ensure data confidentiality.
- Audit and strengthen data management practices across multiple services to enhance data integrity and privacy.
- Monitor and respond to security alerts across different platforms promptly, mitigating potential threats effectively.
Job Requirement
Requirements:
- Enthusiastic individual with a passion for information security.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to work from the office.
- Available for a minimum duration of 3 months.
- Educational background or relevant experience in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Any completed coursework or obtained certifications related to cybersecurity, network security, ethical hacking, or information security management.
- Relevant internship or project experience in cybersecurity or related areas (if available)
