Job description

Softobiz Technologies is in search of a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Lead to drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and contribute to the overall success of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the IT services industry, with proven experience in sales, pre-sales, closing deals, and the ability to effectively manage a team. This role will focus on the Australian, US, and other specified markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Expansion and Revenue Generation:
  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and reach potential clients in the Australian, US, and other targeted markets.
  • Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new customers and expansion of existing client relationships.
  • Sales Process Management:
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to pre-sales discussions and final closure.
  • Conduct effective presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of Softobiz Technologies.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead and manage a high-performing Business Development team, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
  • Set and track team goals, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients' business needs and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of various IT services offered by Softobiz Technologies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.
  • Proposal Development:
  • Collaborate with the internal team to develop customized proposals and solutions that address clients' specific requirements.
  • Closing Deals:
  • Successfully close deals through effective negotiation and objection handling.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Business Development, sales, and client acquisition within the IT services industry.
  • Proven track record of generating revenue and closing deals in the Australian and US markets.
  • Strong understanding of various IT services and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a high-performing team.
