About the role:
Izakaya is an authentic Japanese restaurant that brings the rich flavours and traditions of Japanese cuisine to 32nd.
As a valued member of our F&B team, your role involves curating an elevating experiential ambiance for our customers. You will leverage marketplace trends and your experience in the FnB industry to build strong relationships, overcoming operational challenges and activating the marketing initiatives for Izakaya.Your efforts will contribute to the overall triumph of Izakaya's unique dining experience within the 32nd's culinary portfolio.
What You Will Be Doing
Responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.Ensure that guests receive exceptional service by training staff in customer-centric practices.Address customer concerns and feedback promptly, striving for continuous improvement.Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-effective measures.Collaborate with the chef to curate and update the menu, ensuring it aligns with the restaurant's vision and customer preferences.Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring adherence to established standards.
What You Bring To The Table
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, preferably in a Japanese or Asian cuisine setting.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and foster engagementFinancial acumen and experience in budget management.Problem-solving ability and the capacity to handle customer concerns effectivelyBachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related field
