Job Description Summary

As Regional Application & Product Manager-South & East, you will be responsible for providing formal technical and clinical support during the sales process within in the geographic region or limited industry/product segment, South and East India. Responsibilities may include providing clinical trial support of the product helping in pre sale and also post-sale training support to the Application including on site clinical in-servicing and go-live support. You will also be responsible for conducting and managing Point of Care Ultrasound workshops. Customer facing staff responsible for winning business. Operates with some autonomy but are typically subject to standard sales practices and procedures. The role is subject to regular review of sales results.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Improve customer satisfaction and socket retention through continuing education on optimization of equipment utilization by customer

  • Support trade shows, professional conferences and workshops by performing product demonstration and promotion as well as customer training

  • Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies

  • Produce well-written post-training reports and provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs

  • Continuously develop and improve a network of key opinion leaders within the assigned territory

  • Track and communicate market trends to/from the field including competitor data, and develop and lead effective counterstrategies

  • Increase orders, sales, margin, and share through world-class clinical consulting, strong customer relationships, and educational support for regional sales team, local/national “show sites” and regional customer base. These roles require specialty clinical qualifications

  • Developing in-depth knowledge of sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups. Uses prior experience and acquired commercial expertise to execute policy/strategy

  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area

  • Most decisions are within a defined framework, but some autonomy in the final decisions for a project, product line, market, sales process or customers

  • A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires advanced experience in the Sales & Clinical Sales. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 10 years clinical/ technical experience following certification with demonstrated clinical/technical skill in specific areas or at least 10 years commercial applications/modality experience with demonstrated successes in high level customer interactions and sales scenarios
