Job Purpose
This position is primarily responsible for the strategic and technical implementation and on-going support
of the business process automations. The position is responsible to drive & manage digitization across the
IT landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Study the Business processes and identify the areas for automation
- Identify, implement and track Automation projects and effectiveness.
- Own the governance framework for Automation processes in IT
- Responsible for the delivery of automation that is secure, efficient, and accurate.
- Coordinate with the business stakeholders and agency responsible for designing and building the automation.
- Own the ITSM tool for RE and ensure end-to-end new implementation and enhancement of the tool.
- Configuration of workflows in ITSM tools for SRs, CRs, and others.
- Development of tools to instrument internal support and operational processes.
- Work closely with Delivery and Operations to develop an end-to-end automated platform.
- Analyzing and understanding the IT processes
- Resolve issues that arise in day to day running of automated processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required.
- Roll out of AI bot for other use cases.
- Managing the relationship with the business team at the site to understand their business requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
- Maintain high performing service support functions including an IT Service Desk, Desktop Support, and VIP Support
- Able to manage multiple plants and office locations for providing seamless IT support & infrastructure enablement.
- Responsible for Capacity planning, Asset governance, and Inventory management for the site requirements.
- Coordinate all infrastructure planned or unplanned activities and ensure proper communication to the stakeholders.
- Regular governance of Support partners for efficient IT support.
- Drive internal and third-party service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality, and processes
- Get the analysis done of Incident trends, and recommend actions, get those implemented.
- Act as an escalation point for unresolved and escalated tickets.
- Project Management and Project execution
- Manage the desktop computing environment to ensure that laptops, PC’s and other devices are built and maintained to high standards of performance and security.
- Operational & enhancement support for Plant applications.
- Manage business stakeholders.
Work Experience
Education
Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology / Master of Computer Application / Diploma in Systems / Engineering
Experience
- 6+ years of relevant experience in implementing and managing various tools.- ITSM, ITAM, Event Correlation, Application performance Monitoring, Network performance Monitoring, Server Monitoring and Automation tools like Ansible, Selenium etc.
- Experience in providing Technical Support
- Experience in Manufacturing / Automotive industry
