Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Purchase Executive to join our team at DCS Group in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. As a Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for managing the company's purchasing activities and ensuring timely procurement of goods and services. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in purchase management.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in purchase management or a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cash management, costing & estimation, and records management.
• Experience in pricing negotiations, purchase orders, and purchase management.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling procurement processes.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the company's purchasing activities and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate prices, and establish favorable terms and conditions.
• Review and analyze purchase requisitions, create purchase orders, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide appropriate procurement solutions.
• Monitor inventory levels, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all purchasing processes.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on market trends, new products, and suppliers.
• Drive cost savings initiatives by optimizing procurement processes and negotiating favorable contracts.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new supplier partnerships.
• Provide regular reports and updates on purchasing activities to management.
