- Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to ensure their reliability and capability.
Maintain a supplier database with up-to-date information.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
Draft and review contracts, ensuring legal and compliance standards are met.
Generate and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand their procurement needs.
Continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
Analyze market trends and conduct market surveys.
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
Address and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure products meet specified standards.
Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions if necessary.
Work closely with the inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock levels.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and agreements.
Generate reports on procurement activities and costs.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting procurement.
