Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Nagpur for a Production Manager (1-2 years). As a Production Manager, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, managing the production workers, ensuring quality control, and liaising with other department heads to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Supervise the work of a department.
Responsible for quality & safety of product.
Daily & weekly production planning.
RM, PM inventory, Minimum inventory planning and controls & Resource availability.
Conventional machines and assembly line, CNC Application, Measuring Instruments/equipment's, Engg. Drawings, Manpower selection & handling, Industrial Engg, Application, New Product & Process Development, Product Part Approval Process, SPC Application, Productivity, Optimum utilization of P & M, Continuous improvement projects, QMS implementation Continual training on OPRP.CCP, PRP and implementation.
Implementation of SOP as per process flow chart.
To ensure ISO, 9001, 22000, 14001, 5S, HACCP, HALAL, policy implementation Evaluation of Training Need Identification.
Effectively monitoring utility consumption.
To execute the production planning & to complete it within the prescribed time limit.Â
Monitoring all documentation & record keeping
To assist production Sr. Executive Executive on machinery issues spares operating breakdown/trouble shorting
To ensure processing parameters & deviation incidents if any against standard.
Plant hygiene sanitation.
Reducing down time.
Estimate costs and prepare budgets
Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
Monitor production to resolve issues
Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in Production Management or a similar field
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and rectify problems quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and lead a team effectively
