Department Overview
As part of CMSO (Centralized Managed Support Operations) organization, the STDI (Service Design and Tools Integration) team is responsible for all the technology that enables support of Motorola Solutions products and services. This includes monitoring tools, case and incident management tools, phone and chat systems, and customer self-service portals.
Job Description
Responsible for developing and maintaining a big-picture vision and roadmap that supports the Company’s strategic goals for MSI’s Ally solution, a hosted records management product targeted at the private security market. Validate and develop ideas based on industry experience and contact with customers and stakeholders. Must possess a blend of business and technical skills. Must enjoy spending time in the market to understand the customers’ needs.
Basic Requirements
Candidate must have the ability to
- Work with support teams and customers to gather requirements
- Work with development teams to ensure that the requirements are implemented into the target system
- Work with support teams to identify issues with the system
- Provide management with periodic updates on the progress of development and support
English language proficiency (verbal and written) is required.
