You will be working as Product Manager and will be part of Electrification business Area for Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Global Product Manager MV GIS and will be responsible for supporting business results by overseeing all steps of the offering life cycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing and profitability.
Your responsibilities
- Understanding and defining current market segmentation and related offering positioning including relevant regulations and standards
- Owning the technical and market specification for the offering and determining offering business plan that supports sustainable growth
- Acting as interface between external market and internal functions, forecasting volume trends on a regular basis to ensure operation's capability to fulfil customer orders
- Contributing to development of new portfolios by leading customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value, follow-up of offering portfolio performance
- Managing different channel to market scenarios in coordination with channel partners and Marketing and Sales to ensure best market coverage
- Defining product customer value proposition per segment and channel and ensuring clear communication to channels and users, to deliver clear offering positioning within the portfolio with defined values per offering line
Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from a reputed university
- Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in portfolio management, business strategy, market Intelligence, go-to-market strategy and customer experience
- Hands-on working experience on Medium Voltage Switchgear products (GIS or AIS)
- Should have worked in similar switchgear product manufacturing industries
- Excellent communication skills
