Job Description Overview:
Lead technical projects that streamline, automate, and scale our business applications at Commvault. You are encouraged to help drive the strategy and execution of a business applications roadmap within our business operations. Lead a team of Business Systems analysts, manage executive stakeholders, and drove significant improvements through an agile development methodology. This position reports to the Senior Director, Business Applications.
Who you are?
Lead a team of Business Systems analysts responsible for our Customer Support applications.
Develop strategic relationships with executive partners to define, prioritize, and help implement our go-to-market strategy and customer journey objectives through our business applications.
Lead priorities and demands with senior partners.
Handle external relations such as consulting partners or vendors.
Work closely with PMO, Enterprise Architecture, & Development on IT-related projects and their timely delivery and quality.
Hands-on role for select strategic projects - defining business requirements, application configuration, testing, training, and enablement.
Drive project teams through the design and definition of Business processes to help ensure technology is an enabling multiplier and not simply a solution unto itself.
Lead all project delivery processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, issue resolution, and adoption and change management.
Drive operational excellence, stability, and scale by observing strict change control, and best practices for project management, issue mitigation, stakeholder management, data governance, and release management.
Implement consistent best practices across the group, including standardized documentation and processes.
Select, develop, and evaluate personnel ensuring development & efficient operation of the team.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Systems analyst.
3+ years of management experience, or demonstrated leadership capabilities in a team environment.
Configuration/administration experience with MS Dynamics or similar CRM platforms.
Good communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in problem-solving.
Experience supporting customer service & support organizations, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
Familiarity with Agile software development or similar methodologies, promoting flexibility and adaptability in project execution.
Certifications are preferred, but not required. We value practical experience and continuous learning.
Professional services/consulting experience is helpful, as it provides valuable insight into client-centric solutions.
Prior experience working in the software industry is preferred.
