The Role Responsibilities


Strategy


  • Exhibit qualities which demonstrate the group’s strategy.
  • To treat Customer’s with Human touch and understand the importance at every business stage and inculcate this aspect in reporting Staff.
  • To support strategic intent, on the growth of business, cross functional advantage, and work on cost efficiency.

Processes


  • Responsible for the overall administration of the process.
  • Manage the end to end activities pertaining to the region / country under his / her responsibility with specific focus.
  • Subject matter expertise in benefits programme, mybenefits programme, change management, escalations, etc.
  • Ensure that TAT / SLA is adhered to and escalate in case of misses as appropriate.
  • The role holder is responsible for driving the team in achieving its TAT, facilitating meeting the Department's objectives and Key Result Areas.
  • Set clear expectations and job responsibilities between supervisors and team members.
  • Understanding current processing methodology and output for each country and review standards.
  • Ensure new migrations are managed smoothly and standardized across different countries.
  • Identify process gaps and potential risk and take corrective action to plug the same.
  • Prepare and track the calendar for all major activities in the teams.
  • Explore automation of  transactional and increasingly complex activities to create capacity  and achieve improved accuracy levels, cost saving and improved efficiencies.
  • Establishing and maintaining a close working relationship with the Service Delivery teams to ensure that service issues are promptly escalated and acted on.
  • Be the Point of contact for audit purpose.
  • Effective management of vendors.
  • Ensure that process are documented adequately and is kept updated at all times with version controls being available.
  • Report exceptions in a timely manner to the concerned parties.
  • Identify key risk areas and put action plan in place.
  • Establishing and maintaining a close working relationship with the Service Delivery teams to ensure that service issues are promptly escalated and acted on.
  • Implement actions to prevent mistakes and identify process gaps and ensure corrective actions taken.
  • Adaptability to changes in process and ensure the same is effected in DOI.

Risk Management


  • Ensure Operational Risk (OR) and Compliance requirements are met.
  • Facilitate audit / compliance review for Service Delivery and ensure remedial actions are implemented timely.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Regulatory and Business Conduct


  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment].
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.

  • MBA or Post Graduate degree from a reputed / recognised university.
