This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.

Required Skills/Experience:

1. Leading a team of Azure administrators and operators providing guidance, support, and mentorship.

2. Leading the server compliance activities for different VMs running in different cloud environments. Must take care patch management lifecycle including testing, deploying, troubleshooting missing patches and patch issues, etc. utilizing the change management process and patch management and automation tools necessary to ensure compliance and successful audits.

3. Responsible for OS Vulnerability mitigation and Compliance remediation.

4. Managing and maintaining the Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking resources, and other Azure services.

5. Monitoring and optimizing the performance of Azure resources, identifying, and resolving issues to ensure high availability and performance.

6. Implementing and enforcing best practices for Azure operations, including security, governance, and compliance (create a RUN book)

7. Collaborating with other IT teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into Azure solutions.

8. Planning and executing Azure deployments and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

9. Managing Azure costs and optimizing resource utilization, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

10. Implementing and managing Azure monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address issues.

11. Leading incident response and troubleshooting efforts for Azure-related incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact to business operations.

12. Staying up to date with the latest Azure features and services, and evaluating their potential impact on the organization's Cloud Operations.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of Azure cloud services and infrastructure, as well as experience in leading and managing a team. Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills are essential. Azure certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect, are highly desirable. Additionally, experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is beneficial for implementing ITIL best practices in Azure operations.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) :

• Related work experience, Relevant military experience, or advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Relevant Experience: 4- 5 years as Azure Cloud Operations Lead

Typical Education & Experience:

• Typically 16 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience, advanced degree (Eg Bachelor or Master etc) preferred but not required.
