The Cloud Operation Engineer will be part of ADI's Global IT CCOE team and bring demonstrated experience in Cloud Operations and DevOps solutions using AWS or Azure or, Google cloud services. She/he will manage Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Container as a Service (CaaS) and Serverless offerings.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with engineering, operations, networking, and security teams to ensure that all deployments and workloads in the cloud meet ADI's compliance requirements
  • Primary focus on the Infrastructure management and deployment, FinOps, Cloud operations, Governance and Security posture assessment.
  • Infrastructure provisioning and deployment using IAC (Terraform)
  • Identify Optimization opportunities in cost spend and infrastructure.
  • FinOps – Billing and cost management reports, anomaly detection, create dashboards and identify opportunities for cost saving and implement them. Generate billing and charge back info.
  • Operations - Setup and manage Cloud observability, monitor, alert and responsible for day to day operation. Use Cloud native tools such as Lambda and Functions to automate alerting, mitigation and resolution.
  • Security Posture – Identify WIZ vulnerabilities and remediate. Audit, compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Develop DevOps framework and engineer solutions using tools such as Terraform, ansible, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Configure RBAC and IAM policies to protect systems and data on public cloud accounts against any unauthorized access
  • Automate account provisioning using Landing zone solutions, config rules and policies
  • Follow and implement best practices based on the well architected framework in Cloud platforms.
  • Document knowledge articles on operational incidents and resolutions

Required:
  • A Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • AWS/AZURE/GCP certified professional
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in Cloud Infrastructure deployment and operations role.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise around managing and deploying infrastructure, systems and application design using cloud-native tools and open-source technologies.
  • Experience with using Python, Terraform and Ansible to leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code (PaC) tools,
and building secure and compliant cloud environments using these tools.
  • Experience with using Solarwinds, WIZ and Cloud native monitoring tools
  • Wide range of infrastructure, security and automation skills and experience working in a DevOps team
  • Capacity to work in a virtual team environment as well as independently with minimal direction.
  • Understanding of AWS and Azure Well Architected Frameworks, Open Security Architecture (OSA), and Cloud Security Posture Management best practices.
  • Experience working with a distributed team spread across multiple geographies.
