Job Description:
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Senior Engineer (Lead) in electronics to join our esteemed team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of home solutions. In this capacity, you will lead technical projects in electronics, overseeing the entire lifecycle from ideation to execution, with a primary focus on PCB design and project leadership. You will primarily collaborate on new product development (NPD) projects, working closely with a multidisciplinary team consisting of mechanical engineers, industrial designers, and R&D managers. *Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead technical projects in electronics, with a primary focus on PCB design and project leadership:
- Defining specifications and scoping for electronics.
- Orchestrating collaborations with PCB designers, manufacturers, and testing agencies to ensure the seamless development of circuit boards.
- Crafting wiring layouts to facilitate the seamless integration of electronic components within our products.
2. Drive electronic circuit board prototyping projects to facilitate agile product iteration and testing.
3. Oversee electronic testing and validation processes for PCBs and products, establishing stringent testing SOPs in collaboration with external labs.
4. Establish and oversee an in-house electronic testing lab, defining operational protocols and assembling a team of skilled professionals.
5. Conduct comprehensive root cause analysis and troubleshoot electrical and electronics issues in existing products, implementing effective resolutions.
6. Foster collaborative relationships with external stakeholders, including PCB designers, assemblers, manufacturers, and electronic component vendors.
What we need :
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Instrumentation from a reputed institution. Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics or product companies within the consumer electronics, smart wearables, or home automation industry.
3. Demonstrated leadership in technical electronic projects, guiding them from conception to deployment with unwavering attention to detail and quality.
4. Proficiency in PCB design, assembly (PCBA), testing, and hardware design, with expertise in electronic components operating on AC and DC.
5. Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment, demonstrating resourcefulness and adaptability in overcoming challenges.
6. Excellent communication skills and a proven track record in project planning, stakeholder management, and project financing.
