Finance Lead
Responsibilities:
Create/edit Chart of Accounts:
- Develop and maintain the Chart of Accounts according to organizational needs.
- Regularly review and update the Chart of Accounts to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial reporting requirements.
Maintain GL groups and codes:
- Manage General Ledger (GL) groups and codes to accurately categorize financial transactions.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in GL coding for all financial activities.
- Payment processing against Job work or Material invoices:
- Process payments for job work or material invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and contracts to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Handle GST e-invoicing-related matters, HSN codes, etc.:
- Manage GST e-invoicing processes, including compliance with regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of HSN (Harmonized System of Nomenclature) codes for goods and services.
Lead Finance operations - JV, PJV, Payments, etc.:
- Take a leadership role in finance operations, including preparing journal vouchers (JVs), processing payment journal vouchers (PJV), and managing other financial transactions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of finance operations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
- Assist with financial audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA Inter or CA Final qualification.
- Proven experience in financial operations, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GST e-invoicing and HSN code management.
- Familiarity with financial controls and risk management practices.
- Prior experience in leading finance operations or managing a team.
