Job Description:
- Develop and drive implementation of Risk Management frameworks and policies for managing risks across the enterprise.
- Develop and periodically update the risk assessment models (Must have experience in developing assessment models for Pillar II risks).
- Prepare Enterprise Risk Dashboards for update to the Risk Management Committee and Senior Management.
- Design and implement mechanisms for proactive monitoring risk through key risk indicators.
- Identification and assessment of operational risks and controls through risk and control self-assessments (R&CSA) and product and process review.
- Design and roll out a comprehensive operational risk loss database (to collate and monitor operational risk related losses and effective mitigation).
- Ensure alignment of Risk Management practices with regulatory requirements and industry leading practices.
- Periodically review Risk Management policy, procedures, reporting templates and framework to ensure everything is up to date.
- Facilitate the execution of Risk Management frameworks and policies.
- Coordinate and assist in identification, assessment, prioritization and mitigation of risks across various departments.
- Track progress on action items related to Risk Management.
- Coordinate with various departments and prepare a consolidated view of risks across identified risk metrices.
- Prepare reports and documentation for Senior Management and Board reporting, regulatory submissions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
Skills Required:
- Senior executive with 7 - 10 years of experience in Risk Management within the financial industry (Banks or NBFCs).
- Thorough understanding of Operational Risk Management frameworks, ISO 31000 and COSO ERM Framework.
- Must have experience in developing assessment models for Pillar II risks.
- Ability to lead discussions on risk identification, assessment, prioritization and mitigation.
- 2 - 5 years of experience in Risk Management within the financial industry (Banks or NBFCs).
- Knowledge of ISO 31000 or COSO Risk Management Framework.
- Ability to facilitate discussions on risk identification, assessment, prioritization and mitigation.
- Degree in business or CA; MBA preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
- High level of commitment to quality work product, organizational ethics and integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally.
