Summary: The Senior Manager position is a dual-purpose role that focuses on managing teams to deliver insightful information to business clients to enable data-driven decisions. This analytics manager must be able to guide multiple sub-teams and deliver for multiple Risk function stakeholders – Compliance & Ethics, Audit, BCF, ERM, etc. Additionally, this individual will oversee individual contributors directly and will be responsible for career development, goal setting, performance management, coaching. The right candidate is expected to be hands-on with deliverables, has a strong analytical background and can build and inspire effective teams to drive the Hyderabad site to success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Directly manage teams to bring complex analytical solutions to completion on time and within budget, ensuring high quality of work that adheres to analytical best practices
Collaborate with Compliance & Ethics (C&E) Monitoring, Audit, ERM, BCF BMS Foundation, IME stakeholders to deliver analytical solutions in alignment with their respective strategies
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and visualization to drive business goals, operational efficiency and improve data-driven decision-making processes
Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions for stakeholders
Drive matrixed and cross-functional teams to meet business objectives, which often will require integrating data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
Optimize analytics solutions and incorporate data quality implicitly to ensure accuracy in the information shared with business (through reports, dashboards, insights, extracts, etc.)
Proactively seeks opportunities to build strong capabilities and continuously improve or implement new technologies by staying updated with emerging trends, advanced analytics and best practices in data analysis for risk
Mentor and guide team to grow and progress in their career; create a culture of connectivity and meaningful work within the team
Provide significant input into and communicate diplomatically regarding performance reviews, promotions and compensation actions for team members
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to drive collaboration and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
Strong verbal/written skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with & strategically impact senior leadership
Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams, influence cross functionally and manage a heavy workload
Proficiency in data analysis techniques, including using Tableau, ETL (Python, R, Domino), SQL
Must possess solid analytical skills, excellent business acumen and creative problem-solving skills, to direct sub-teams and to provide recommendations to business
Must be self-driven with strong curiosity to learn domains, new skills, evolve/innovate and contribute
Strong analytical skills with knowledge of qualitative design, data analysis, and applied statistics
Experience:
We welcome a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Proven experience with minimum 9+ years in a similar managerial role with hands-on delivery analytics solutions
Strong proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Tableau or similar platforms (Certification strongly preferred.)
Strong experience with complex data analysis, ETL processes, visualization
Experience with data modeling, writing complex SQLs, and data manipulation techniques
Experience operating successfully in a complex organizational environment
Experience managing/leading team(s) supporting global enterprise
Prior experience in risk domain preferred
Have a strong commitment to a career in technology with a passion for healthcare
Familiarity with Veeva CRM, Concur a strong plus
