Required Skills:

• Established proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, detailing experience involving work associated Gravity and Pressure networks.
• Set-up projects to comply with the relevant CAD/BIM Standard.
• CAD/BIM Team Leader/ specialist in some single discipline domains with an increasing expertise.
• Assist with budgets, resourcing and assigning of work.
• Develop awareness of engineering design process.
• Able to check and take responsibility for others work BIM coordinator/team leader on small/medium projects.
• Able to present / represent their technical work.
• Should monitor efficiency/productivity of self and the team.
• In Depth knowledge of standard codes and EDMS (Electronic Data Management System).
• Good knowledge of BMS/QSE procedures, able to demonstrate QA/QC on projects.
• Extensive experience of detailing Dry and Wet infrastructure utilities.
• Coordination with subconsultants, and Design Engineers.
• Evaluate engineering alternatives and resolve technical issues.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner.
• Review and prepare preliminary sketches/drawings etc. as per the markup provided by the Engineers.
• Create feature lines and surfaces.
• Create, edit, and label alignments, Civil 3D parcels, and corridors.
• Create, edit Ditches, Pond grading.
• Prepare and check plan and profiles of utilities including creation of pipe networks, editing, and changing parts and styles (Catch basins/Manholes Fire Hydrants etc).
• To Run clash analysis with multi discipline models and support in utility Clash resolution activities - Navisworks/Civil 3D.
• Create parts library using Part builder and Content editor.
• Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments.
• Experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate on assigned tasks with the multi-Discipline teams.
• Ability to identify automation opportunities to improve BIM process efficiency.

OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Highly desirable experience includes engineering application experience.
• Knowledge of French Language.
• Expertise in 3D modelling, reality capture, 4D and 5D simulations and data integrations.
• Knowledge of a wide variety of authoring tools (i.e., Bentley, Esri, Revit).
• Proficient in additional Autodesk BIM Software: Revit.
• Skilled in ESRI ArcGIS ArcMap workflows.
• Skilled in Bentley Software: MicroStation, Inroads, Open Roads.
• Experience implementing and administrating common data environments: Bentley ProjectWise, MS Teams, SharePoint, BIM360.
• Understanding of LISP, Dynamo, and ability to write scripts to automate BIM processes.
