Responsibilities
o Senior Production Support Database Administrator Engineers
Key Technical Skills:
. SQL Server Management Studio - Mandatory
. Good T-SQL coder/developer skills - Basic
. Command line - Basic
. Powershell - Basic
. NewRelic - Good to have
MSSQL DataBase Administration:
. In-depth knowledge on Microsoft SQL SERVER database Administration2014,2016,2017,2019
. Installation (Standalone, Always On, Distributed AGs)
. SQL Server Security Management - Windows & SQL Authentication, Creating Logins, Database Users, Server roles, Database roles, Permissions - Server level, DB level, Object level,working with Managed Service Accounts (SMA), Server Principal Names (SPNs)
. Implementing and managing the Database backup and restore strategies, including third party Backup tools, example: Rubrik,TSM
. Skills in Performance Tuning, troubleshooting%5CRoot Cause Analysis (Perf. Monitor/SQL Server Profiler/Database tuning advisor/Extended events)
. Good Knowledge on Indexes, Statistics, analyzing the execution plan, deadlocks, blockings, Parameter sniffing, lock escalation, MAX DOP, Cost threshold Parallelism
. Good knowledge on memory concepts - buffer pool, procedure cache, PLE, memory grants pending&hellipetc
Application Performance Monitoring (APM) :
. Good knowledge on Observability tools Diagnostic tools (ex : New Relic ), monitoring Database health components ( Eyes on Glass)
. Good knowledge on Always On, Distributed availability Groups configuration and troubleshooting sync issues.
. Good understanding on TempDB behavior
. SQL Server Agent, working with Agent Jobs, MSX
Good To Have :
. Change Data Capture (CDC), Query store
. T-SQL development & Query optimization, PowerShell scripting
. Cloud exposure and multi Database technologies(Oracle%5CMongoDB%5CPostgres..etc)
Key Soft Skills:

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
. Bachelor&rsquos/ Master&rsquos in computer science or related disciplines.
. Relevant experience for Lead Consultant
. Relevant experience for Principal Consultant
. Excellent oral and written communication is a must.
. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
