We are recruiting for Software Engineer for our Data Enablement team. It is a full-time Grade C role to be based in our GITC site at Chennai.
As part of AstraZeneca’s Data Protection capability, we are seeking a Full Stack developer to own the development efforts for Enterprise IT. This means accountability for the backend development, Unit testing, Deployment pipelines for both front end and backend functionalities in this project. The role also involves collaborating with the Project Manager and BA to ensure effective day-to-day execution of a metrics driven SDLC.
You will need a collaborative delivery approach to be successful. We use Scaled Agile with standard-length program increments (12-14 weeks) but tailor the approach for each project in EDF. So, experience of a variety of delivery management methodologies would come in useful. You will provide technical leadership throughout our software development lifecycle, from the initial development of a technical design based on a blueprint, right through to hypercare. Essential skills and experience
JAVA back end with experience in development (spring boot framework desirable) is a must
Front end development skills in REACT JS
Expertise inmysql and nosql data bases
Working knowledge of writing stored procedures in Snowflake is desirable but not mandatory
Workingknowledge of setting up in CICD process such as Git Deployment , Jenkins Pipelines etc is desirable but not mandatory
Strong knowledge of SAAS and PAAS is a plus.
An enthusiasm for great documentation
Prior experience in business process automation using workflow automation tools is a great plus
Prior experience of having worked in Agile ways of working is a plus
Ability to understand AZ CI/CD process and following correct code commit and deployment strategies is mandatory.
Desirable skills and experience
Excellent Jira acumen including a proactive approach to status updates.
Experience of Agile practices, preferably having been part of an Agile team for several years.
