SalaryAs a Vice President - Risk & Controls Officer within the CTC Organization, our Information Security professionals are passionate about Information Security and control solutions for computing environments. While managing a world-class team of technology experts, you'll partner with one or more disciplines, lines of business, regions or locations to respond to evolving business requirements and emerging threats. You'll also leverage your expert knowledge of today's ever-changing cybersecurity and risk landscape to influence IT operations across the firm. Responsibilities include offering guidance, best practices, and support across businesses, leading risk reviews and vulnerability assessments, identifying threats, communicating with senior leaders and other stakeholders, and managing budgets.
Job responsibilities
- Offer guidance, best practices, and support across businesses to drive awareness and understanding of the Technology Risk and controls framework and challenges to compliance
- Lead risk reviews and risk assessments, identifying threats, communicating with leaders and stakeholders
- Implement technology’s approach for compliance with the firm’s operational risk management framework
- Serve as a point of contact for process, risk, and controls related inquiries as a trusted risk advisor and authority on application of the framework
- Advance the design of the Technology Risk and control framework for expression of the Technology Risk and control environment
- Work closely with various partners across the firm, including but not limited to colleagues in CTC, Enterprise Technology product & engineering, Information Risk Managers and Technologists in our Businesses and Corporate Functions, Operational Risk Management & Compliance, Audit, as well as regional partners across the globe
- Develop relationships with business executives and partner across organization lines to mitigate risks to accomplish common goals
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative workplace environment and building/maintaining productive working relationships with all team members and stakeholders
- Function as a subject matter expert and advisor to all of global technology regarding requirements and approach to expression of the Technology Risk and control environment
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on Technology Risks, controls concepts and 7+ years applied experience
- Expertise in application and infrastructure high-availability and resiliency architectures with demonstrated experience in business
- Proven experience in the Technology Risk & Controls and information risk management fields
- Proven knowledge of IT risk metrics and reporting
- Knowledge of technology-relevant financial services regulation (e.g., FFIEC handbooks, etc.)
