Job Description

MS/PJ-SMP-SDS plays an vital role of System Integrator for Advanced Meter Infrastructure in Smart Metering Projects working with public sector units, handling components of Integrated system of Smart Meters, Communication Networks Head End System and Meter Data Management systems that enables two-way communication between utilities and equipment at the consumer premise. Bosch has developed significant understanding of the requirements and potential solution across other functional blocks of GPRS and adds RF Solution as part of its AMI portfolio by using partnered technologies and develop communication software and Data concentrator Units.Responsible for:

• Supply, installation & integration of Smart Meters of the respective project as per the definition of Go-Live/ UAT specified therein, along with its related hardware and software equipment
• System (MIS) data for projects, adhering to bidding guidelines.
• Conducting bid evaluations for vendors involved in loss reduction initiatives.
• Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the efficient execution of smart metering projects.
• Preparation of Project Implementation Agreement (PIA) and monitoring of the metering segment in accordance with standard bidding documents.
• Formulation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR) for smart metering initiatives under the scheme in coordination with DISCOM’s
• Assisting to Discom for Smart Meter- Preparation action plan and DPR, Project Management,
• Bid(S) process management, Finalization & approval of GTP, Quality and safety assurance etc.
• Project execution, planning and management.
• Material reconciliation of vendors and contractors’ management.
• Risk identification and mitigation.
• Project stakeholder collaboration to deliver project as per project schedule.
• MIS Reporting, Data Analysis, Maintaining trackers for project deliverables.
• Periodic review with team leads and site staff on ground regarding project progress.
• Continuous customer engagement, presenting and updating project progress, highlighting dependencies and ensuring necessary support for project delivery.
• Ensuring safety and quality guidelines being followed in field.
• Prepare briefing notes, documents and reports on the project activity and submitted to Head office & Clients.
• Involve in the Process for the integration of applications with SBM (Spot Billing Mechanism) , RMR (Remote Meter Reading), GIS(Geographical Information System), MDAS(Meter Data Acquisition System).In addition to this, the resource should have
