We are currently seeking a Industry Consulting Director to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).
Roles and Responsibility:
1. Engage in and improve the whole life-cycle of application and cloud services-from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement
2. Design, develop, ship, and motivate the creation of software and systems to increase product reliability and organizational efficiency
3. Lead development and tracking of SRE Error Budgets
4. Lead development of SRE dashboard
5. Lead root cause investigations
6. Proactively identify system anomalies
7. Recognize automation opportunities
8. Plug into software release cycle. Work closely with developers to ensure software releases are well designed, planned, implemented, released, and monitored
9. Automate time-consuming and manual processes
10. Assess current SRE solution and define the SRE approach for products
11. Work with applications development teams on designing, implementing, and improving SRE practices
12. Design and execute Scalability strategies that ensure the scalability and the elasticity of the infrastructure
Requirements:
1. Minimum 8-10 years OF experience as platform architect with advance knowledge in the following key areas: containers, deployment architecture, benchmarking, design, and network engineering
2. Minimum 4-6 years of combined experience serving in either a Devops, SRE, Systems, and/or software development role
3. Experience in defining the SRE Roadmap for organizations
4. Extensive experience with public cloud technologies and solution. (GCP Preferred)
5. Experience with IAC tools (Ansible, Github)
6. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, and Packer
7. Experience with container technology and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
8. Experience with Monitoring tools like Splunk, App Dynamics, Grafana
9. Experience with Log management and ELK Stack. (Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana)
10. Deep Understanding of the microservice architectures, application servers, network and databases
11. Excellent understanding of Scalability processes and techniques
12. Experience with Jenkins or other build tools
13. Hands on experience in administering high availability and high-performance environments, as well as managing large-scale deployments of traffic-heavy applications
14. Someone who can handle multiple complex systems and not shy away from the challenge of improving them
15. The willingness to try new technologies and make them harmonize with existing systems to achieve better operations overall
16. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
