Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Manager to join our team and operate from our Head Office in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a strong understanding of HR best practices and a proven track record in managing all aspects of HUMAN RESOURCEs within an organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership : Develop and execute HR strategies in alignment with the organizations goals and objectives. Provide insights, guidance, and direction to senior management on HR matters.
- Talent Acquisition : Lead and oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent. Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
- Employee Relations : Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling. Promote a positive workplace culture.
- Performance Management : Implement and improve performance appraisal processes, ensuring fair evaluations and employee development. Provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
- Compensation and Benefits : Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with local labor laws.
- Training and Development : Identify training and development needs, and coordinate programs to enhance employees skills and capabilities.
- HR Policies and Compliance : Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Diversity and Inclusion : Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization, fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace.
- HR Metrics and Reporting : Monitor and report on HR key performance indicators and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- HR Technology : Stay updated on HR technology trends and identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through the use of technology.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Masters degree in HR or relevant certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of labour laws and regulations in Kolkata, with the ability to ensure compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools for HR management.
- Demonstrated experience in driving cultural change and promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
